Mike Davis Clubhouse manager, Mike was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He moved to Barron, Wisconsin from Eau Claire, Wisconsin where he attended high school and college. Mike is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin Stout, with a Bachelors degree in Golf Enterprise Management where he studied the management aspect of the golf industry, the golf swing, and Turf Management as well. He also has an Associates degree in Business Management. Mike brings over five years of experience in the golf industry.
Rollie Torkelson has been the Superintendent here since 1990. His background in turfgrass maintenance began with a short course in turf management at the University of Wisconsin Madison. He keeps his growing knowledge of turf management current by attending many seminars offered by the Golf Course Superintendents Association.
He was raised in Cumberland. After two years of college he became involved in the commercial and residential construction industry for many years. He then spent 7 years in the land surveying business before joining the staff here at the Cumberland Golf Club. He enjoys the challenge of caring for the course, and as an old friend told him one day, try to learn something new everyday. Rollie and his staff look forward to having you play our course.
