Announcing Tia Olsen – new Clubhouse Manager
CGC is excited to announce Tia Olsen as our new Clubhouse Manager. If you have spent any time at CGC in the past 13 years, then you have probably had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Tia. She is a life-long resident of Cumberland and brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of running the Clubhouse. She served as the assistant manager the last 3 seasons and is super excited about stepping into the manager’s role for 2026.
Make sure you stop into the clubhouse and say hello.
Welcome Ken Adams -new CGC Superintendent
CGC is excited to welcome Ken Adams as our new superintendent. Ken is no stranger to Cumberland, as his parents have had a home in Cumberland for 25 years, and are members of the CGC. Ken has spent lots of time in Cumberland and has played many rounds on the course.
Ken has spent the past 30+ years in golf course maintenance and was a major contributor to the success at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club in Lakeville, MN. When asked about becoming the new superintendent, Ken said “I am honored to be given the opportunity to serve the Cumberland golf community”.
Ken has some great ideas on ways to continue to improve the course and we are excited to see what he can do.
2026 Annual Members Meeting – Wednesday, May 13th
The 2026 annual members meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 13th at 7 pm in the clubhouse. This is your chance to hear about the activities the Board has completed in the past year, and the projects planned for 2026 season. Please plan on attending and bring any questions you may have as well. There will be board member positions available at this meeting. If you or someone you know are interested in becoming a board member, please be sure to attend.
WSGA Handicap
Your WSGA handicap, if purchased through Cumberland Golf Club, has expired unless you have renewed it for 2026. If you plan on posting rounds after April 1, 2026 or will belong to a league where it is necessary to have an handicap index, you should renew your handicap soon. The current cost is $30/year through CGC.
Guest Pass and Punch Cards
If you purchased either a single or couples membership this year, your guest pass will be available in the pro shop. Please be sure to pick them up as they are only good for the 2026 season. Guest passes can only be used when playing with a member.
If you purchased a 10 or 20 play punch card, that will also be available in the pro shop.
